Hockey first, betting second
LNODEK covers the NHL from a Canadian vantage point. The seven Canadian clubs get the first look, the league gets the second, and the writing is aimed at readers who watch the games rather than only the results. Most of what we publish is editorial: picks with the reasoning attached, predictions we revisit instead of quietly deleting, power rankings that explain their own movement, and the news, injury and trade reporting that changes all three.
How LNODEK makes money
A smaller part of the site is commercial. Some sportsbook links are affiliate links, which means LNODEK may receive a commission when a reader visits an operator or opens an account through one of them. Commercial links are marked, and the commercial relationship does not determine a ranking position or score. The sportsbook ranking methodology explains what is measured.
How sportsbooks are tested
Testing means funded accounts and real money. We checked Interac deposit availability across 15 accounts and documented five completed C$50 Interac withdrawals after identity verification. A measured result is labelled separately from an operator-stated estimate. Bonus terms are judged on what qualifying hockey bets must turn over. Who writes LNODEK
Sportsbook testing for the 2026 NHL ranking is attributed to Bradley Warren. NHL articles identify their writer in the byline and link to that writer’s profile. The complete author directory shows the coverage currently published under each name; it does not claim credentials or experience that LNODEK has not documented.
Corrections and changing information
NHL reports, schedules, line combinations and sportsbook terms can change after publication. When LNODEK confirms that a material fact is wrong, the affected page should be corrected rather than left in place for search traffic. Current operator terms and official league information remain the authority where a page has not yet caught up with a change.
