Confirmed, projected and last starter are different

A confirmed starter has been named for the upcoming game by a source that can support that label. A projected starter is an informed estimate. LNODEK’s current official feed does not provide reliable projections, so this page does not publish them.

“Last starter” comes from the official boxscore of a completed game. It helps show the most recent usage and performance, but it should never be read as the likely starter for the next matchup.

How goalie news affects hockey markets

A change in net can alter expectations for both scoring and shot volume. The hockey totals guide explains how an over/under settles, while the NHL player-props guide covers goalie saves and skater markets. Confirmation is context for those decisions, not a prediction of the result.

For dated market movement rather than a prediction, use the current NHL odds analysis.

Recent forward usage can add context, but it has the same limitation: the latest line combinations reflect the last completed game rather than a practice projection.
